About
Our Story
If the walls of The Cow could talk, they would tell you that this very building you are sitting in was built around 1940. Bear Creek, behind the beautiful back patio of The Cow / An Eatery, once provided a passable route to move people and supplies into the Goldfields of the West. Currently, Bear Creek provides water for Denver, Englewood, andĀ Morrison.
Situated in the quaint small town of Morrison are the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Red Rocks Park that used to be known as the Garden of Angels. Concertgoers, farmers, artists, families young and old make up much of the community of Morrison,Ā Colorado.
In early 2014, David and Sherri Lind dined at the Blue Cow and fell in love with the quirky little diner. Soon after, the Lind family took over ownership of the Blue Cow. Sherri's previous thirty-eight years in the restaurant industry have helped ensure that the history and heritage of The Blue Cow stayed intact with a stronger focus on the incredibly fresh, homemade food; rather than just the soft serve ice cream, the Blue Cow had become famousĀ for.
Here at The Cow / An Eatery, we want our guests to know that we utilize "team service". That means, while you may be greeted by one employee, you may finish your meal with another. Team service allows us to provide the best service for our customers with an "all-hands-on-deck" approach. So, if you need anything feel free to ask anyone. Almost every dish you will enjoy today is made in-house, fresh, daily. Because our kitchen is utterly small, and our incredibly fresh food is cooked-to-order, please allow extra time for your meal when we are busy! Thank you for choosing The Cow / An Eatery for your dining experience. We look forward to serving you againĀ soon!
